According to information received from the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, the woman who died in the hospital had consumed vinegar, and her relatives are blaming her ex-husband for this. On January 31, the police department in Karakol received information about the hospitalization of a woman due to vinegar poisoning. During the investigation, it was established that the victim is M. O., born in 1992, who, according to preliminary data, drank 80% vinegar, which led to severe damage to her internal organs. She was urgently taken to intensive care.

As part of the investigation, her husband, K. E., born in 1990, was interrogated. He stated that they had been married since 2011 and have two children. Despite the divorce, which was finalized in September 2025, they continued to communicate. On the day of the incident, he took M. O. home and handed her the keys to the apartment. Later, she called him but was unable to speak, so he went to the address provided, where he found her in the kitchen and called for an ambulance.

The investigative authorities appointed the necessary examinations regarding M. O. On February 1, her sister, O. E., born in 1986, reported to the police department in Karakol that her ex-husband might have been involved in the tragic incident.

Unfortunately, on February 2, M. O. died in the hospital without regaining consciousness. In this regard, the investigative authorities of the Karakol police department opened a criminal case under the article "Driving to suicide" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation is ongoing.

According to sources in law enforcement, the deceased's husband works in one of the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Karakol.
