In the Chui region, law enforcement agencies have detained a person suspected of stealing a significant amount of money. This became known from a statement by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, on January 24, T.E., the director of the agricultural enterprise "K.K." located in the village of Sretanka in the Moscow district, reported to the police. He stated that on the same day, around 3:00 PM, a citizen K.D. unlawfully entered the accounting office through a window and stole 425,000 soms, after which he fled the scene of the crime.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities conducted as part of the operations "Bandit" and "Arsenal," police officers were able to establish the whereabouts of the suspect K.D., born in 1980, and detain him. The man was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Upon his arrest, a pistol was discovered and seized from him. Necessary examinations are currently being appointed.
The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
