The event occurred on March 13, when a call was received at number 102 reporting that a person had shot himself in a car near one of the restaurants on Kozhomberdieva Street.
The investigative-operational group of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. In a GAC car, a dead man named K.K., born in 1981, was found with a gunshot wound.
During the inspection of the vehicle, a 12 mm caliber "Izh-18" shotgun, 13 cartridges, a shell casing, two mobile phones, as well as a suicide note and other evidence were discovered.
Preliminary data indicate that the man shot himself in the chest, and financial problems may have been the reason for his actions.
This case has been registered under Article 128, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning threats of violence and other actions leading to suicide or its attempt.
An investigation is currently underway.
