A resident of the city M.T. contacted law enforcement. He reported that on March 14 at around 1:00 PM, near a store in the area of the residential complex "Kolmo," unknown criminals took advantage of the fact that his car was unlocked and stole a Samsung A17 mobile phone and 200,000 soms in cash.
Based on this report, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code.
Shortly thereafter, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate detained the suspects, who had previous convictions and were registered as pickpockets: B.K. (born in 2000), N.R. (born in 1996), and E.A. (born in 1991).
The detained individuals have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Additionally, a citizen identified as N.S. was established, who was involved in the purchase of stolen phones. He had 9 mobile devices of various models in his possession, presumably obtained through criminal means.
According to law enforcement information, the criminals moved around Bishkek in a rented car and committed thefts from unlocked vehicles.
At present, a connection has been established between the detainees and more than 10 similar crimes.
