Residents of Jalal-Abad Region Renounce the Ideology of the RET "Yakin-Inkar"

In the Jalal-Abad region, an event was held aimed at explaining and preventing among the activists of the religious extremist group "Yakin-Inkar". This was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

According to the GKNB, 27 members of this religious extremist movement publicly renounced their radical ideals.

“These citizens were involved in extremist activities and were subjected to active propaganda of banned ideology in Kyrgyzstan. They realized the error of their choice and the harmfulness of their beliefs, expressed regret, and declared their intention to adhere to the laws and regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the decisions of the Council of Ulema and the requirements of the DUMK. In addition, they called on other citizens not to succumb to the illegal calls of members of the religious extremist group 'Yakin-Inkar',” the message states.

The GKNB also reminds that participation in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations banned in the Kyrgyz Republic entails criminal liability.
