According to information provided by the Drug Control Service, 21 special operations were conducted last year, including the use of the "controlled delivery" method for drugs abroad. As a result, 17 drug laboratories were dismantled, 5 of which produced synthetic drugs, and more than 700 kg of synthetic substances were seized.
A brief overview of the Drug Control Service's work in 2025:
- The activities of 116 criminal drug groups were disrupted, resulting in 142 crimes being recorded and 286 individuals being detained, including 22 members of organized criminal groups registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- 82 drug-related crimes committed via the internet and mobile messengers were identified, and 54 online stores were blocked, 15 of which were closed by court order.
- 17 attempts to import drugs into Kyrgyzstan through postal shipments from various countries were thwarted.
- 33 foreign nationals were brought to criminal responsibility for drug-related offenses.
- Decisions were made regarding the confiscation of property obtained from drug trafficking in criminal cases related to drugs: 15 residential houses valued at 106 million 800 thousand soms; 25 land plots with a total value of 17 million 650 thousand soms; 26 vehicles worth 49 million 358 thousand soms, as well as cash amounting to 111 thousand 900 US dollars, 8 million Uzbek soms, 9 million 274 thousand 580 soms, and 2 thousand rubles.
- A total of 114 offenses in the sphere of illegal drug trafficking were recorded, with fines imposed totaling 1 million 417 thousand soms.
In 2025, 3 new laws and 2 resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers were adopted to enhance the effectiveness of the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
