Special services are examining the posts made on social media by a drunken citizen.
According to the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), a preventive conversation was held with a man named Z.D.A., born in 1989, regarding his messages that could incite interethnic hostility.
During the conversation, he stated that his actions were caused by his state of intoxication and promised that he would not engage in such behavior in the future.
“At this time, the investigative authorities of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic have appointed expert examinations of Z.D.A.'s publications, based on which further steps will be determined in accordance with the legislation of the country,” the statement noted.
The GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds that incitement of interethnic, interregional, and interracial hatred, including through social networks, is subject to criminal liability.
