Asakeev noted that cross-country skiing is a safer and healthier option compared to downhill skiing.
He also shared his observations on the differences between these two sports and the increasing interest in cross-country skiing:
“Although downhill skiing provides an adrenaline rush, it is much more dangerous. Cross-country skiing, on the other hand, is suitable for flat terrain and can be learned starting at the age of 6. Our group regularly trains 15 people, but many more are eager to try their hand at this sport. In the near future, we plan to organize national competitions to inspire skiers and provide them with an opportunity to exchange experiences,” said A. Asakeev.
