
The minister reminded that the Cuban people, united with the international community, have come to the conclusion about the serious threat posed by the actions of the US government. In his message on the social network X, he noted: “The situation in relations with the United States is unusual and represents an extraordinary threat.”
He also characterized Washington's policy as anti-Cuban and neo-fascist, adding that the actions of the US threaten not only Cuba's national security but also that of the entire world, as well as “the survival of humanity in the face of nuclear threats and climate change.”
Let us remind you that on January 30, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, declared a state of emergency in response to the national security threat from Cuba. This decree opens the possibility of imposing additional tariffs on goods coming from all countries that supply oil to Cuba.
