According to Euronews, this statement was made against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the region and the approach of another American aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

Trump noted that reaching a significant agreement with Iran has proven to be a challenging task over many years, and in the absence of such an agreement, "the situation will become unfavorable."

At the same time, Iran conducted its annual military exercises in cooperation with Russia. Observers believe this demonstrates Tehran's readiness for active measures in the event of failed negotiations.

Despite recent indirect negotiations between the US and Iran, no progress has been made. Analysts suggest that both sides may be stalling for time to prepare for a potential military conflict.

In response to US and Israeli strikes last year, Iran claims it is not enriching uranium and insists that discussions should focus solely on the nuclear program.

At the same time, Iranian authorities emphasize their lack of intention to escalate the conflict.

According to Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, "under the current circumstances, all military bases and facilities of hostile forces in the region could become legitimate targets for Iran's defensive actions."

Trump's statements have already led to a rise in oil prices and heightened fears regarding the likelihood of a major confrontation in the Middle East.
