According to him, "the attacks only impacted four oil storage facilities. Given the precautionary measures taken in advance and the availability of additional storage in the country, there is no reason to panic regarding gasoline and energy supplies. The population should not worry or line up in long queues at gas stations," the ILNA agency quoted him as saying.
The Iranian authorities noted that only certain elements of the infrastructure were damaged, and the country maintains reserve capacities and fuel stocks.
