
The tragedy occurred on January 18 in the province of Córdoba, located in the autonomous community of Andalusia. A high-speed train heading to Madrid derailed and collided with another train. As a result, the rear part of the train flew into the oncoming lane, leading to the disaster. As a result of the impact, the first two carriages derailed and fell from a height of four meters. The causes of the incident are currently unknown.
