According to preliminary information, there are no dead or injured Kyrgyz citizens as a result of the railway accident that occurred in Spain. This was officially reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, citing data from local authorities.

The ministry clarified that no requests for assistance from citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have been received by the embassy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in France continue to maintain contact with the Spanish authorities and are closely monitoring the situation.

We remind you that on January 18, 2026, a railway disaster occurred in southern Spain, near the settlement of Adamus, resulting in at least 39 deaths and over 120 injuries.
