
At the recent meeting of the "Humanitarian Group," held under the leadership of the Secretary of the State Emergency Commission and the UN Resident Coordinator, winter conditions, weather forecasts, and the risk of dzud were discussed, which may occur due to difficulties in the winter and spring months.

Meeting participants emphasized the importance of accurate and timely data for effective humanitarian assistance. The UN Resident Coordinator highlighted that since last autumn, the government and the humanitarian group have already taken a number of measures for early warning and risk prevention.
At the next meeting, the State Emergency Commission and relevant authorities will present participants with up-to-date information on the current situation, while humanitarian partners will exchange plans for upcoming actions.
