- At the World Economic Forum in Davos, an announcement was expected regarding the agreement on a recovery plan for Ukraine amounting to $800 billion between Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. However, this event was postponed due to discussions concerning Greenland.
- NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized during a panel discussion that the main issue right now is not Greenland, but the situation in Ukraine.
- On Thursday, a meeting is scheduled in Moscow between U.S. Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner with Russian President Vladimir Putin. A meeting between Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky is also planned in Davos.
- Putin stated that if Russia joins the "Council of Peace" proposed by Trump, the funds for the entry fee of one billion dollars could be taken from Russian assets frozen in the U.S.
- Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, who heads the Ukrainian delegation in peace negotiations, held a meeting with Kushner and Whitcoff in Davos.
- The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the port of Taman, located in the village of Volna in the Krasnodar region, resulting in a fire and the death of two workers. Port terminals and four tanks containing petroleum products were damaged.
- The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported power outages for consumers in the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions due to a nighttime attack.
- The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine imposed a freeze on property seized during a search of the office of the "Batkivshchyna" party as part of a case involving the bribery of people's deputies, as well as on the property of Yulia Tymoshenko's husband, including two garages and three cars.
- The French company Renault signed an agreement with the defense firm Turgis Gaillard to produce drones intended for Ukraine.
- The Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany reported the detention of three suspects in espionage activities in the interests of Russia and related crimes.
