OJSC "Aiyl Bank" announced its name change to OJSC "ABank". This decision was made on February 2 at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting.

It became known that the shareholders unanimously supported the updated version of the bank's charter. After completing all necessary re-registration procedures with government authorities, the bank will begin operating under its new name.

The bank assured that the name change will not affect its obligations to clients and partners. All existing services, accounts, and contracts will remain in effect.

"Aiyl Bank" is one of the most significant state banks in the country. It was originally established as OJSC "Kyrgyz Agricultural Financial Corporation" (KAFC) with the aim of supporting the agricultural sector. The institution was created by the government of Kyrgyzstan in 1996 with the assistance of the World Bank.

On December 27, 2006, OJSC "Kyrgyz Agricultural Financial Corporation" was transformed into OJSC "Aiyl Bank".
