According to the report of the National Statistical Committee, as of the end of 2025, there were 315 markets registered in Kyrgyzstan, of which 154 have the status of mixed daily markets, as well as 95 shopping centers.

Market Structure


The total number of trading places in the markets reached 83,416 units. The majority are clothing markets — 29,048 places, as well as mixed markets — 23,892 places.

Bishkek stands out among other regions in terms of the number of trading points, with 29,497 places, which accounts for about 35% of the total number in the country. Chui region ranks second with 11,487 places.

Specialized Car Markets


In the field of automobile and spare parts sales, there are 10 specialized markets offering 12,401 trading places. Individual entrepreneurs actively operate in this sector, occupying 5,846 places, while individuals occupy 6,533 places. Legal entities are represented by only one trading place for the entire country.

Fees for the use of trading places in this sector exceeded 163 million 231 thousand soms by the end of the IV quarter of 2025.

Shopping Centers


There are 95 shopping centers in the country with a total area of 472,608 square meters. Almost half of them (43 objects) are located in Bishkek. These centers house 7,957 trading places, of which 5,458 are rented by individual entrepreneurs.

Rental Rates


The average cost of renting a trading place per day in the republic is 182 soms. The highest rates are observed in Bishkek — 292 soms, while the lowest are in Issyk-Kul and Batken regions — 73 and 77 soms, respectively.
