His path to success began in 2022 when he underwent training and learned from his Uzbek colleagues. As a result, a greenhouse covering 10 acres was built, equipped with drip irrigation systems for efficient water use and powerful heating that requires about 300 kilograms of coal per day during the winter period. In his greenhouse, the farmer continues to experiment with various varieties, replacing the high-yielding Korean "Sokhen" with the market-popular "Kabirello," known for its high-quality fruits.
The economic results of his project speak for themselves: in April, strawberries cost 700–800 soms per kilogram, while in winter the price rises to 2000 soms. With proper care, one hectare can yield up to 25 tons of harvest, and the greenhouse currently allows for over 500 kilograms of berries per cycle. Additionally, the farmer has cultivated over a hectare of open land, where the harvest begins to ripen by mid-spring. Previously sent to the markets of Osh, the produce now fully meets the needs of retail outlets in the Batken region.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan highlights Kubanych Barat uulu's example as exemplary for attracting youth to the agricultural sector. The effective implementation of modern technologies and thoughtful diversification of varieties have made his farm a notable player in the local market. This is a vivid confirmation that the climate of the Batken region, combined with innovations, creates new opportunities for high-income farming.
