The quality of agricultural products intended for export depends primarily on the quality of the raw materials and compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards. This was stated by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department in the veterinary service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, during a radio broadcast.

He noted that at the acceptance stage, processors carefully monitor the raw materials. If unsuitable products are detected, they are either returned to the suppliers or subject to disposal or destruction in accordance with established rules.

Tabaldiev also mentioned that the requirements for meat products are regulated by the technical standards of the Eurasian Economic Union. "Before slaughter, animals must have veterinary accompanying documents, undergo identification, vaccination, quarantine, and veterinary and sanitary examination. Based on the inspection results, the veterinarian issues a conclusion on the suitability of the products," he added.

Furthermore, the head of the department mentioned that discrepancies in documentation sometimes arise at the border during exports. In such cases, issues are resolved in a working order through cooperation with the relevant services of other countries.
