He emphasized that if only two countries are involved in the project, it cannot be considered cooperative.
Ashymbekov also outlined the minimum requirements for the contributions of participants. "The technological contribution must be at least 10%, and engineering services must be at least 5%. At the same time, there can be several companies from one country," he noted.
Projects may involve both small and medium-sized enterprises; however, the share of foreign investments must not exceed 50%.
The priority areas for cooperation are machine engineering and heavy industry, and there is also discussion about the possibility of expanding this list to include the agro-industrial complex.
According to Ashymbekov, Kyrgyzstan has a number of competitive advantages, including the availability of raw material bases, a labor force, low tax rates, and government support in matters of production localization.
