“In 2025, work was carried out on 114 infrastructure facilities. Full funding of 4 billion 348 million soms was allocated for 82 roads. For example, 2.2 billion soms were allocated for the Uzgen—Myrzake—Kara-Kulja road project, as well as 317.9 million soms for 13 water supply facilities and 19 irrigation systems,” the Cabinet added.
The Osh region also received transfers to support local budgets amounting to 1 billion 329.2 million soms, which totaled about 11 billion soms from the republican budget in 2025.
In 2024, the budget of the Osh region amounted to 4 billion 731 million soms, while in 2025, revenues reached 6 billion 447 million soms, indicating an increase in the execution of the state budget by 2.3 billion soms compared to the previous year.
Kasymaliev noted that “the Osh region occupies an important place in the economic and social development of the country; however, productivity indicators remain insufficient. In 2025, the gross output of industrial products in Talas amounted to 51 billion soms, while in the Osh region it was only 22.8 billion soms, which is 2.3 times less,” he emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Cabinet rated the work of the Uzgen and Chon-Alai districts as “good,” while the Osh region was rated as “satisfactory” based on the results of the previous year.
