The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to impose a temporary ban on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This ban will take effect in five days and will last for six months.

The restriction covers all types of mineral fertilizers, except those that were imported from third countries and do not meet quality standards. Exceptions are also provided for humanitarian aid, which will be granted by the government's decision.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of this ban within three days. A similar notification will be sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The previous resolution, adopted on March 3, 2025, has been revoked.
