Additionally, as part of improving the hydraulic infrastructure, 608 structures, 174 water measurement posts, and 91 pumping stations were repaired, with 19 pumping units replaced.
The minister also noted that 206 kilometers of the collector-drainage network underwent mechanical cleaning. In order to provide the population with quality drinking water, in 2025, 40 rural settlements gained access to water supply, allowing more than 75,000 citizens to use water. A total of 3.7 billion soms was allocated from the state budget for these activities.
Akunbekov added that construction of water supply systems is currently ongoing in 70 rural districts, 25 cities, and 601 villages. It is planned that by 2026, an additional 70 villages and three cities will be provided with drinking water.
