Sadyr Japarov emphasized that there has been an increase in livestock numbers and production volumes over the past few years. He also noted successes in exports, particularly that Naryn honey is already being shipped to Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, and Japan.
To provide farmers with irrigation water, about 3 billion soms have been invested in the development of the region's irrigation system over the past five years.
This year, the launch of the Tugel-Sai reservoir and the BDR "Shamsi" is planned, which will improve irrigation on 4,294 hectares and develop 3,306 hectares of new land.
The president also called on experienced managers and specialists to emulate the outstanding leaders of the past, such as Korchubek Aknaazarov and Kadyrakun Bazarbaev.
“The state is ready to support those who strive to develop the agricultural sector in challenging mountainous conditions. Our task is to create a powerful agro-industrial zone and increase the export potential of the region,” said Sadyr Japarov.
