Starting from February 11, 2026, a new system will come into effect in the EAEU, requiring mandatory tracking of the transportation of alcoholic and tobacco products using navigation seals. As part of the preparations for these changes, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with business representatives to clarify the new requirements.
These innovations will impact both the export and import of goods transported by road and rail. The main goal of implementing this system is to ensure the reliability of cargo and the accuracy of its declaration.
The tax service emphasizes that the use of electronic seals will allow:
to speed up the process of crossing state borders;
to reduce administrative barriers for honest entrepreneurs;
to lower the risks of smuggling excise goods.
A series of training events is planned for entrepreneurs and tax service employees to ensure a smooth transition to the new digital tracking system.
