Why are prices in Kyrgyzstan rising every week? Response from the Ministry of Economy
Everyone wants to earn a salary like in the Ministry of Construction

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce commented on the reasons for the constant rise in prices in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the agency's data, the consumer price index for the end of 2025 was 9.4%, while the average annual inflation was at 8.2%.
In particular, meat products increased by 13.6%, fruits and vegetables by 19.1%, bread and cereals by 3.8%, dairy products, cheese, and eggs by 5.5%, and alcohol and tobacco by 8%.
The Ministry highlights several factors contributing to this increase: seasonal demand, annual excise tax hikes, rising wheat prices in Kazakhstan, increased logistics costs, as well as the rising prices of feed, fuel, and transportation. It also notes the increase in purchase prices for livestock and the growing demand for products from neighboring countries, not to mention the impact of global inflation.
