GTS: 15.5 million soms fined for inaccurate vehicle declaration

- In the Kyrgyz Republic, 15.5 million soms have been collected for cases of inaccurate declaration of vehicles imported from China, according to information provided by the press service of the State Customs Service.

The agency conducted monitoring and data analysis, during which cases of incorrect indication of the year of manufacture of vehicles were identified, leading to insufficient payment of customs duties.

For example, on November 28, 2023, at the MTO "Naryn," a DONGFENG truck was declared as being manufactured in 2019, but a VIN code check revealed that the vehicle was actually produced in 2016. As a result of the recalculation, 1,802,135 soms were paid into the budget.

Also, on May 12, 2024, the company OsOO "K.G.E." imported five dump trucks with a declared year of manufacture of 2022. Analysis showed that the actual year was 2021, and an additional 3,494,811 soms were charged.

In August-September 2025, OsOO "K.B.G." imported 13 dump trucks indicating a 2023 year of manufacture. The inspection revealed that the actual years of manufacture were 2020-2021. Customs payments were additionally charged in the amount of 8,093,379 soms.

Furthermore, on December 15, 2025, at the MTO "Naryn," vehicles from IVECO were received for OsOO "C.S." where the declared year of manufacture was 2020. An examination by the Forensic Expert Service under the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic revealed that the factory chassis numbers had been altered, and components from 2008-2010 had been used. As a result, 2,148,098 soms were collected.

All materials related to these cases have been sent to the Investigative Department of the State Customs Service for further legal assessment.
