The parliament's agenda includes a draft law concerning the possibility of making no more than one amendment to the codes within a calendar year.

The initiator of these changes is the Ministry of Justice, which, in its explanation, states that "establishing a norm that limits the frequency of amendments to the code is a significant step towards ensuring the stability and reliability of legal regulation in the country, which, in turn, will create a foundation for long-term legislative practice."

The proposed changes will affect 17 different codes, including:

𑇐 Administrative Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic;

𑇐 Budget Code of the Kyrgyz Republic;

𑇐 Water Code of the Kyrgyz Republic;

𑇐 Air Code of the Kyrgyz Republic;
