
In the Chon-Kemin State Natural Park, managed by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan, a snow leopard that was previously caught in the village of Boroldoy has been successfully released back into the wild.
Before returning to the wild, the snow leopard underwent all necessary veterinary and biological checks conducted by experienced specialists. This male weighs 42.7 kg, is 3-4 years old, and measures approximately 2 meters in length.
Initially, the animal was housed in a rehabilitation center for wild animals located in the Saylyu-Terek pasture in the Chui region. After a thorough examination by veterinarians, it was released into the wild.
