In the Cabinet, the implementation of 12 investment agreements in the energy sector was discussed

- On January 21, 2026, a meeting was held in the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss the implementation of investment agreements in the energy sector, according to the press service of the Cabinet.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev. In addition, more than 15 leaders of companies involved in the construction of solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants, as well as thermal power plants, joined the meeting online and via video link.

The agenda included issues related to the execution of 12 investment agreements concerning the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 5,450 MW, the implementation of which was initiated in 2023.

Three agreements for the construction of hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 2,239 MW and three agreements for the construction of thermal power plants, totaling 2,685 MW, were also discussed.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of investor participation in the development of the energy sector and the economy of the country as a whole, urging all participants to adopt a responsible approach and fulfill their obligations under previously signed agreements.
