According to the press service, the event was attended by leaders from more than 15 companies involved in construction, as well as those at the stage of implementing solar, wind, hydro, and thermal power plants in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, details of the implementation of 12 investment projects concerning the construction of solar and wind power plants using renewable energy sources were discussed, with a total installed capacity of 5,450 megawatts. Their implementation was initiated in 2023. Three investment agreements for the construction of hydroelectric power stations with a total capacity of 2,239 megawatts and agreements for the construction of thermal power plants with a capacity of 2,685 megawatts were also reviewed,” the press release states.
Furthermore, it is emphasized that in light of the growing demand for electricity in the country, the government is open to ongoing cooperation with entrepreneurs interested in implementing energy projects.
