According to the ministry's data, solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 101.95 MW are currently operating across the country.
“One of the significant events of this year was the signing of investment agreements for the construction of six new facilities: five solar and one wind power plant, with a total capacity of 3150 MW. The investment volume for these projects reached $4.215 billion,” the official statement noted.
In 2025, the energy sector saw the commissioning of 44.59 MW of capacity due to small hydropower plants and 101.22 MW of capacity from solar power plants.
