From March 2 to 5, avalanches and ice are expected in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on highways, due to unstable weather conditions.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the upcoming dangers on the following roads:

- Bishkek—Osh on sections 121-138 km (Töö-Ashuu Pass) and 198-265 km (Chychkan Gorge, Ala-Bel Pass);

- Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alakuu on sections 55-115 km;

- Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kyya on sections 45-112 km (Chapchyma Pass);

- Krasnaya-Gorka—Ak-Tash on sections 0-3 km;

- Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart on sections 292-305 km (Dolon Pass);

- Balakchy—Kazar-man—Jalal-Abad on sections 201-205, 260-290, and 326-349 km;

- Karakol—Enilchek on sections 45-90 km (Chong-Ashuu Pass);

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds drivers of the necessity to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles on the road.
