According to Kyrgyzhydromet, the particularly dangerous sections on the roads include:
- from 121 to 138 km on the Bishkek—Osh highway (Töö-Ashuu pass) and from 198 to 265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- from 55 to 115 km on the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaikuu road;
- from 65 to 75 and from 88 to 101 km on the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya highway (Chapchyma pass);
- from 0 to 3 km on the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- from 292 to 305 km on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway (Dolon pass);
- from 201 to 205, from 260 to 290, and from 326 to 249 km on the Balikchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad road (Kok-Art pass);
- from 45 to 90 km on the Karakol—Enilchek highway (Chon-Ashuu pass).
When traveling through potentially dangerous areas, drivers are advised to maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
