
From March 4 to 5, adverse weather conditions are expected in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the occurrence of snow avalanches and the formation of snow drifts on highways.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), potentially dangerous road sections include:
- Bishkek - Osh: sections from 121 to 138 km (Tuu-Ashuu Pass) and from 198 to 265 km (Chychkan Gorge, Ala-Bel Pass);
- Myzrak - Kara-Kulja - Alayku: from 55 to 115 km;
- Ala-Buka - Kanysh-Kiya: section from 45 to 112 km (Chapchima Pass);
- Krasnaya Gorka - Ak-Tash: from 0 to 3 km;
- Bishkek - Naryn - Torugart: section from 292 to 305 km (Dolon Pass);
- Balykchy - Kazarman - Jalal-Abad: sections from 201 to 205 km, from 260 to 290 km, and from 326 to 349 km (Kok-Art Pass);
- Karakol - Enilchek: from 45 to 90 km (Chon-Ashuu Pass).
