According to the information from the ministry's press service, this meeting was a continuation of the online event held on January 27, which involved the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as partner organizations and educational institutions from Austria.
During the discussion, the participants reviewed a project for the establishment of a tourism school in the Ak-Suu district, located in the Issyk-Kul region. The Kyrgyz side proposed to provide financial and methodological support for the construction and development of this educational institution, as well as for the training of specialists in the field of mountain tourism.
Mattiaschitz expressed interest in continuing negotiations and supported the initiative, noting that funding issues would be discussed with state and private institutions in Austria.
Kendirbaeva emphasized that the implementation of such projects opens new horizons for the development of tourism education and strengthens international cooperation.
