Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Sovetbek Rustambek uulu, drew attention to critical social and infrastructure issues affecting the Nookat and Uzgen districts in the Osh region during a parliamentary meeting on February 25.

He noted that from 2024 to 2025, 11 municipal kindergartens were opened in the Nookat district. However, as of today, local budgets have not yet received the necessary funds, which has resulted in 164 employees being unable to receive their salaries for January and being forced to file complaints.

Additionally, the deputy reported a similar situation in the Bash-Döbön village government of the Uzgen district, where employees are also awaiting salary payments.

He also raised the issue of one of the areas in the Zulpuy village government, which now has the status of a village. This settlement has a population of 1,120 people and contains 160 houses, but lacks essential social facilities such as a kindergarten, school, FAP (First Aid Post), and gym.

According to him, there is a pressing issue with access to drinking water in the village. To address this problem, the village government has developed a project for the construction of a clean water line, which costs 13 million 500 thousand soms. The deputy called for the funding of this project to be included in the republican budget.
