Bazar-Korgon District, where more than 200,000 people live, has only three ambulances. Of these, two vehicles serve the mountainous areas, while one serves the population within a radius of 100 kilometers. This was reported by Batyrbek Subankulov, the chief physician of the Bazar-Korgon District Center for General Medical Practice named after Bekmurza Ismailov.
According to Subankulov, the problem of the shortage of ambulances is actively discussed. He noted that "the renewal of the ambulance fleet is a necessity that has become urgent." There are three ambulance stations in the district: one in the Arstanbap-Atyn rural community, the second in the village of Oogan-Talaa, and the third in Bazar-Korgon itself. However, all the vehicles are worn out, and the team is forced to maintain their operability through frequent repairs. The last update of the fleet occurred six years ago when a "Gazelle Sobol" was purchased, which, unfortunately, turned out to be unreliable and often breaks down, creating additional problems.

The main burden falls on the department in Bazar-Korgon, which provides primary care to most of the district's residents. In some cases, after the team responds to a call, it is impossible to promptly react to the next one. This causes dissatisfaction among citizens. The chief physician added: "We appeal to sponsors and local authorities to support the renewal of our fleet."
The center for general medical practice has only nine vehicles, of which two are already unfit for operation, three are under repair, and another two are passenger cars. The remaining vehicles are ambulances.
