The meeting of the board of the GKNB took place in the building of the central office, dedicated to the results of operational and service activities for the year 2025.
Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the GKNB, as well as heads of various departments of national security agencies, participated in the event.
During his speech, Tashiev emphasized the high achievements of security agencies in ensuring public and state security, as well as in the fight against organized crime and corruption.
Particular attention in the report was given to efforts to combat corruption in government structures, identifying violations by officials, and cleansing government bodies of corrupt practices. He noted that the fight against corruption remains a top priority of state policy and is implemented on a systematic basis.
During the meeting, it was also reported that over the past five years, as a result of anti-corruption measures and investigative actions, 352 billion soms have been returned to the state budget, amounting to approximately 4.14 billion US dollars. These funds were returned in the form of financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values.
The specified funds have been fully credited to a special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and can be used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of significant social projects, infrastructure development, and improving the welfare of citizens.
