The Ministry of Health intends to open a new rehabilitation center for drug addicts, which will be based at the existing center for post-stroke patients in the village of Dachnoye in the Alamudun district, accommodating 80 beds. At the same time, rehabilitation for post-stroke patients will be carried out at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation based on medical indications.
Dosmambetov emphasized the importance of the legal operation of rehabilitation facilities and the need to create a transparent system of state assistance. In light of the existing risks, a plan for a state anti-drug program is being developed for the upcoming five years.
Professor Zhenishbek Nazaraliev confirmed his readiness to provide methodological support to the Ministry of Health in opening the rehabilitation center, as well as to assist in attracting qualified specialists in the field of rehabilitation and restorative treatment, as reported by the ministry's press service.
