At a joint meeting of the parliamentary groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too," Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdieyev emphasized that the children of migrants from Kyrgyzstan who remain in the country face serious difficulties and a lack of attention.

He noted that the issue of the well-being of these children is becoming increasingly relevant.

“Children left without parental supervision sometimes experience longing and even run away from home. Some of them are subjected to violence or, in the worst case, commit suicide. Children do not always stay with relatives; they are often left in the care of strangers or distant relatives. This leads to a lack of proper upbringing, causing them to wander,” the deputy minister added.

Abdieyev also noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration, as well as local authorities, is actively working to address this issue.

Furthermore, he expressed the opinion that migrants should consider the possibility of bringing their children with them to ensure they receive proper care and upbringing.
