
According to the city hall, the Bishkek CHPP is operating normally.
As of February 2 of this year, the average capacity of the station is 455 MW. Over a 24-hour period, the CHPP generates 10 million 925 thousand kWh of electricity and 9,285 thousand Gcal of thermal energy. The fuel consumption for a day reaches 7,831 thousand tons of coal and 368 thousand nm3.
The CHPP is equipped with 15 boiler units and 7 turbine units with cross connections, as well as two power blocks — No. 3 and No. 4. Currently, 9 boiler units, 4 turbine units, and both power blocks are in operation.
As part of the preparation for the heating season of 2025/2026, the CHPP plans to purchase 1.4 million tons of coal to ensure the reliability of electricity and thermal energy supplies. Fuel deliveries will continue until the end of the current heating season.
As of February 2, there are 204,537 thousand tons of coal in the CHPP's warehouse, which guarantees stable and uninterrupted operation of the station during the current heating period.
