The condition of the roads and bus stops was discussed with the residents of the village of Orok

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a meeting was held with the residents of the village of Orok, which was annexed to the Lenin District during the administrative-territorial reform. The main topic of discussion was issues related to the development of transport infrastructure, the city hall reported.

Attending the event were member of the Jogorku Kenesh Zhanibek Abirov, member of the Bishkek City Kenesh Tilek Asylbekov, director of the Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure Ulanbek Beishenbaev, as well as the head of the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" Talantbek Kaparov and local activists.

The residents of Orok voiced a number of problems concerning their daily lives. The main focus was on the condition of the roads, the need for repairs, and the lack of equipped bus stops.

Ulanbek Beishenbaev, the director of the department, reported that negotiations are currently underway with the Ministry of Transport and Communications regarding the repair of the road network. He also noted that the issue of installing new bus stops is being considered in cooperation with government agencies and local administrations, taking into account the needs of local residents and existing transport routes.

The meeting also discussed issues of drivers' compliance with traffic rules and labor discipline.

Department representatives assured that all expressed suggestions and problems would be forwarded to the relevant authorities, and work on their resolution would continue in the near future.
