A Center for Pre-Departure Preparation and Reintegration for labor migrants is planned to be opened in Osh. This center will aim to raise citizens' awareness of legal employment opportunities, conduct training programs before departure, and support the reintegration of those who have returned to their homeland. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The establishment of this center became possible thanks to a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Kyrgyzstan. The signing of the document took place during a working meeting between Deputy Minister Bakyt Darmankul uulu and the head of the IOM mission in the country, Serhan Aktoprak.

During the meeting, important aspects of migration policy were discussed, including the protection of migrants' rights and the development of international cooperation.

Additionally, the participants discussed the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the International Migration Forum, which will be held under the auspices of the Chair of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock. At this forum, a national report on the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration is planned to be presented.

At the end of the meeting, Bermet Moldobaeva, the head of the IOM mission in Kyrgyzstan, was awarded the "Medal for Cooperation" from the ministry.
