In his opinion, the level of air pollution in Bishkek is not that critical
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev, discussed the current situation regarding air quality in Bishkek.
He noted that over the past two years, the air in the capital has become cleaner, although smog issues remain. "We do not believe that Bishkek should appear in the ranking of cities with high levels of air pollution. Our situation is not like that," emphasized Mashiev.
Furthermore, the minister urged not to rely solely on data from the international resource IQAir, but to focus on the official figures provided by Kyrgyzhydromet.
