The Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan is summarizing the results of 2025, reporting impressive revenue growth in the industry.

According to the department's information, the total revenue from issuing licenses, permits, measuring weight parameters, processing special permits for oversized cargo, as well as from administrative fines amounted to 1 billion 167 million 399 thousand soms. In comparison, in 2024 this figure was significantly lower — only 398 million 886 thousand soms.

In 2025, the Kyrgyz Republic received 222 thousand 20 permits for international road transport from 41 countries.

One of the significant achievements was the implementation of the digital platform E-permit, which allows for the exchange of permits with Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and China. The complete transition to electronic format has significantly simplified the work process for Kyrgyz carriers and reduced their costs.

A system for the electronic issuance of special permits for the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo has also been launched. Now both domestic and foreign carriers can submit applications via mobile devices and receive permits online within 1-3 hours.

The ministry emphasizes that the digitalization of the transport industry helps reduce corruption risks and accelerate processes, thereby creating more convenient conditions for business and international logistics.
