In the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Korumdu, Nurlan Ibraev has welcomed triplets. Now he and his wife have seven children, and the triplets are only six months old.

Nurlan Ibraev shared with a Turmush correspondent that the family is temporarily living in his brother's unfinished house, as they do not have their own housing.

Nurlan, born on July 5, 1986, in Cholpon-Ata, graduated from the Karamoldo Orozov school in Korumdu in 2004 and then trained as a cook at a lyceum in Temirovka.

In his marriage to Gulnaz Ibraeva, which began in November 2012, they already have an older daughter, Perizat, born in 2013. They later welcomed sons Almazbek (2015) and Chyngyz (2018), as well as daughter Khadija (2023). When Nurlan and Gulnaz were expecting their fifth child, they found out they were having triplets. “In the second month of pregnancy, during an ultrasound in Cholpon-Ata, we were informed about the triplets and referred for further examination in Bishkek. We went with relatives and were very happy. I myself grew up in a family with seven children, my older sister has twins, and on my mother's side, there were also twins in the family. Carrying triplets was very difficult, especially in the last months when my wife could hardly get up,” Nurlan said.

The triplets were born on July 8, 2025, at Maternity Hospital No. 6 in Bishkek. The weights of the girls were 2.535 kg, 2.345 kg, and 2.525 kg. “My wife was admitted to the maternity hospital in advance to be under the doctors' supervision. A month later, our girls were born, and we were immensely happy. I brought them home after four days, and now they are healthy. We discussed with our parents and named them Aruuzat, Aruuzhan, and Aruuna,” he added.

According to Nurlan, the family is on the waiting list for a plot of land to build a house. In 2013, he was allocated a plot, but later it turned out that part of the land was on someone else's garden, which led to a dispute. Similar problems arose for 4-5 families. The village administration promised to find another plot, but the issue remains unresolved. “I would like to appeal for help to the head of state and the head of the State National Security Committee regarding this housing issue,” he noted.

Nurlan works as a guard at the village administration with a salary of 8,000 soms. For the past two months, the family has started receiving benefits for seven children at 1,200 soms each. “Previously, benefits were not assigned, but now they considered that we have neither a house nor land. In total, this amounts to about 8,000 soms, which barely covers the diapers for the triplets. We also need formula, medicines, as well as clothing and food for the older children. I used to work extra at recreation centers, but now, when I help my wife with three little ones, I have no time for side jobs. The salary is not enough even for food, and we cannot even think about saving for building a house. We contacted the social service regarding housing, but they told us not to come with such requests. Therefore, we are appealing to the head of state,” he added.

Currently, the triplets are six months old.
