This cable car, which is 1 kilometer long, was created as part of an investment project by the Austrian company Doppelmayr and can serve up to 1,000 people per hour. Japarov also noted that this company is working on the construction of cable cars in the "Ala-Tuu Resort" ski complex.
According to the president, a second phase of construction is planned for the future, which will cover a route of 12 kilometers, starting from the checkpoint and reaching the most picturesque and hard-to-reach places in the national park.
"After the project is completed, our citizens and foreign tourists will be able to enjoy the splendor of the Kyrgyz mountains, discovering their unique beauty," the president added.
In addition, Japarov emphasized that this is not the only infrastructure project in the park. Modern cottages are being built, which will offer comfortable conditions.
"These recreational areas will provide tourists visiting our sunny country with excellent opportunities for relaxation in the mountains and by the rushing rivers. A modern toboggan run is also currently under construction, and plans include the opening of a five-star hotel with a swimming pool," concluded the head of state.
