Who can receive the benefit:
- women who are employed and have an employment relationship with an employer;
- individual entrepreneurs;
- members of peasant (farm) households;
- officially recognized unemployed women who are entitled to unemployment benefits.
The assignment of the benefit is based on a sick leave certificate issued by medical institutions.
Where to apply for the benefit:
- employed women should apply at their place of work;
- individual entrepreneurs, members of peasant households, and officially unemployed individuals should apply to the territorial departments of labor, social security, and migration.
Required documents for assigning and receiving the benefit:
- an employed woman provides her employer with an application in any form and the sick leave certificate;
- individual entrepreneurs, members of peasant households, and officially unemployed individuals must submit an application for the benefit in the approved form along with their PIN;
- additional information for assigning the benefit is requested through the interagency electronic interaction system "Tunduk" in electronic format.
Amount of the benefit and conditions for its payment:
- employed women receive 100% of their salary for the first 10 working days; from the 11th working day — 20 calculated indicators (2,000 soms) per month from the republican budget;
- individual entrepreneurs, members of peasant households, and officially unemployed individuals entitled to unemployment benefits receive 20 calculated indicators (2,000 soms) per month starting from the 11th working day;
- from January 1, 2024, maternity benefits from the 11th working day will amount to 20 calculated indicators (2,000 soms) per month;
- women working in high-altitude and remote hard-to-reach areas receive 100% of their salary for all working days.
Payments of the benefit starting from the 11th working day are carried out through the subordinate divisions of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, which transfer funds to the transit accounts of recipients in banks ("Eldik Bank," "Aiyl Bank") upon presentation of the applicant's passport.
