
The document received support from 107 countries, while 12 states voted against it, and 51 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, the USA, and China, abstained from voting.
The adopted resolution emphasizes the importance of recognizing the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Despite a proposal from the USA to exclude two paragraphs related to these issues and the UN Charter, other countries rejected this proposal, and the resolution was approved in its original form.

Among those who supported the resolution were many European states, Canada, Japan, Australia, South Korea, as well as countries from Latin America and Africa. Countries such as Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea, Iran, and Eritrea voted against it.
In addition to Kyrgyzstan, those who abstained from voting include the USA, China, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Singapore, as well as Slovakia and other states.
The resolution highlights the need to cease hostilities and seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict, as well as to adhere to international norms and principles of the UN Charter.
